But here I am…

By the time I send this, the Sun will transit into Gate 27, Nourishment (the Gate of Caring) and the Earth in Gate 28, Struggle.

I’ll speak to these influences in a bit.

For now, let me say a few words about the Sun in Gate 3, Difficulty at the Beginning and Earth in Gate 50, Values.

First off, we have the Sun in Individual Knowing Circuitry.
This is the energy of being ahead of your time.
Being innovative.
Knowing things that others may not yet know.
You can feel a bit like an outsider.

This Gate comes off the Sacral Center and involves a bit of waiting.

Waiting for something to respond to, and waiting to bring something new into form.

Think of the time it takes to first get clear THAT you want to have children, then the time it takes to conceive, then the 9 months to grow a person in the womb, then the time it takes for the child to grow into an adult.

Time for the fruit tree to grow and give fruit.
So yeah, Difficulty at the Beginning!

New things take time to root.
To blossom.
To bear fruit.

Anyone born roughly between April 15 and 21st will have their Conscious Sun in this Gate…

For me it showed up in the bigger picture as being a late bloomer.
Even though I was clear as a child that I wanted to be a writer, I didn’t publish my first book until I was almost 60.
At this point it shows up as being slow to write these emails!
I have to wait to see what wants to be said/shared.

With my Undefined/Open Head Center, I can’t just go to my head and come up with something.
I have all the information about the Gates and the Planets…but I am always looking to experience them anew.
In real time.

That’s what’s so cool in our Human Design training.
It’s not just a bunch of information.
We’re exploring the lived experience of the chart.

I did download a report for my birthday that included Human Design, Gene Keys, Vedic and Western Astrology, Enneagram, and Numerology…OY! So much information. I kept saying yeah, yeah, yeah as I read it…I resonated and recognized what they were saying…but it didn’t change anything. Didn’t open the portal of revelation.

That’s what I’m interested in. The portal of revelation!
Which makes sense when we look at the Earth in Gate 50, Values.
Here we are grounded by Tribal Circuitry.
We are bringing our intuitive sense of what matters in terms of the Tribe’s survival.
We are here to teach values that will support people to thrive.

From my perspective, opening to knowing the Truth of one’s SELF or Living Awake is the single most important task of our lifetime.
Above you’ll see the quote by Ramana Maharishi that my friend Kim sent me as a birthday blessing:
“The only useful purpose of the present birth is to turn within and realise the Self. There is nothing else to do.”

So I’m on track with my blueprint – teaching something that is coming from the future, that takes time to bring into form, and happens within the context of a community or tribe.

Sigh.

So good.
It’s feels so good to not be trying to be someone else.

Think for a moment of the Sun and Earth (all the Planets) as sentient beings…
They have a consciousness and energy field.
They are in conversation with us.
Impacting us.

My brother Steven was born in this conversation.

The biggest energy we’ll be feeling this week is in Tribal Circuitry.
It’s the energy of compassion, caring, nurturing.
The low side of this can be a codependency (giving as an identity or to get or avoid something).
It can also show up as an absence of compassion and care.

What will it be for you this week?

We give the most when it comes from overflow.
When we care for ourselves first.
Put our own oxygen mask on before putting it on our children.

We’re grounded by the Gate 27, Struggle, which is that Individual Knowing Circuitry.
It’s an intuitive knowing what is a good struggle.
A good struggle feels good.
It’s gratifying.

Learning Human Design is a good struggle!

Meeting and liberating our childhood wounding, or victim identities is a good struggle!
This week you have a chance to tap into where you want to put your energies.
What would be a good grapple for you.

The low side of this energy is being addicted to struggle.
Or feeling victimized by struggle…
Or taking on struggles that are not yours.
Being depleted by struggles.

You have an opportunity to tap into your inner knowing and reassess what you are struggling with.

To let go of struggles that are not worthy.
Are not yours.

One of the struggles I hear many people dealing with revolve around fear.
Waking up in the middle of the night with fear and anxiety running through their systems.
Afraid of what’s happening in the world…
