We opened to a new beginning.
But in Human Design, we begin the New Year when Gate 41—the Gate of Fantasy, the Gate that imagines what’s possible for humanity—lights up.
At this time of year, we have support from the universe to look again and to open, not from a head-space but from our Root Center, the root of our being. We have an opportunity to ask: What are we emotionally drawn to?
At the heart of Human Design is recognizing and honoring our own Authority. We are conditioned by society to look externally to know what to do and who to be. We are taught there is a “right way” and a “wrong way” and that we must strive to get it right and avoid getting it wrong. We are taught to be someone.
CAN YOU MAKE THE TURN TOWARD YOUR INNER AUTHORITY THIS HUMAN DESIGN NEW YEAR AND GUIDE YOUR CLIENTS TO DO THE SAME?
Human Design starts with the premise that we are each uniquely and perfectly designed. When we look externally, when we try to live someone else’s design, it’s like we cover ourselves in a shroud. We are not living an authentic life. We suffer, and the world misses out on our light.

Let me begin by saying my Conscious Earth is in Gate 41.
For those of you who have no idea what that means…it means I am grounded by seeing what’s possible for Humanity.
With my Conscious Sun in Gate 3, Innovation (or, Difficulty at the Beginning), I am here to bring new things to the world.
For the last 40+ years I have been on a path of healing and self-discovery.
In pain, and confused about who I was and how to show up in the world, I was desperate to find a way to live that worked for me.
I went to therapy, got bodywork, took workshops and training, followed spiritual teachers and teachings…
As I learned and discovered ways to meet my suffering, I became a healer, a psychotherapist, and a guide who could help others with their confusion and pain.
In the summer of 2004, I was introduced to Relational Presence.
A month later, I had my first Human Design Session.
Relational Presence gave me access to my voice.
The death of my father, followed by a concussion in 2006, paused my life.
Then, a Human Design transmission in 2013 shifted my trajectory…
I had the bug. I was obsessed with Human Design. I used it with all the people I worked with in my psychotherapy and Diamond Logos practice.
The perspective it offered me and my clients changed everything.
Eventually, I left my psychotherapy practice to do Human Design full-time. I was in a unique situation. I understood this was more than intellectual knowledge. More than information.
My passion, and the desire to bring this knowledge to the world, drove me to write user-friendly books on Human Design and train others to use Human Design to transform people’s lives.
In 2020 Relational Presence came roaring back in as a hand-in-glove fit with Human Design.
I worked in partnership with Jennet Burghard to take the Human Design Certification Training to the next level, helping my students go beyond the intellectual download of Human Design to actually accessing the transmission of the chart and the riches it holds.
The combination is a gift waiting for you.

In 1998 I started my own training agency and coaching practice after having worked as a program manager and consultant for years. After my Masters in Public Administration and my first work experiences, I discovered that the most interesting “field” for me was Personal Leadership. I started to study and practice it. I have learned the importance of practicing Presence. Especially, Relational Presence is a foundation for me and all my work.
I met Robin Winn at a Relational Presence conference. She was presenting on Human Design, I was presenting on Relational Presence. We met after the conference, I enrolled in her training 12-week Human Design Certification Training then her year-long Advanced Certification Training. With my knowledge of bringing Relational Presence to businesses, and Robin’s knowledge of Human Design, we began to weave RP into all her classes, eventually creating a bi weekly Relational Presence class for all her students.
